2nd Dress project

This was a fun dress to make, it took 5 hours to glue together on her, but the shots were sooo worth it! It was an awesome shoot, and we had a blast, and isn't the model just so super beautiful! I love her! click on the images to see the full photo.

Paper Dress "Fringe" project

This dress took me three whole days to make. I did it through conference and all day last Friday. Yesterday I glued each flower individually together forming it to my models body. It took three hours of her standing and allowing me to fit the dress to her, glue, pin, tuck, rearrange and form. She was awesome and so patient. We spent the next three hours shooting her indoors and (poor girl!) outdoors (it was sooo cold!) I got home at 1:30 in the morning! It was a fun project and I was really excited and happy with the results.

It's been a while since I have been excited about my photography projects for school, but I'm enjoying this one. two more dresses to come! (I just have to spend the next many many hours making and designing them!!)

Little happy moments

Gonna brag a little today! Scott Bourne called me today and it made my day! If you don't know Scott Bourne you should! Did I mention he's like a millionaire and so big in the photo world and made time for ME!? SOOO cool!!!

I met him at WPPI going pro bootcamp, and he was so genuinely kind and fun to learn from, He gave me great hugs and he was sincerely interested in us as photographers and helping us grow. I sent him a thank you note, and he called me up today to thank me for it. I don't even know how he got my phone number! So cool! If you are a photographer and ever get a chance to learn from him, I suggest it! Incredible!
