I have no camera, so you get no photos...just me and my thoughts. I sold my camera to pay bills. I paid the bills to get out of debt. So it goes...
On to happier things. I went to California for a vacation for a couple days to stay with one of my best friends Andrea Kjar, we had so much fun together. Here is a little of what we did:
* Sang songs together while her husband played the piano and she played the guitar. They are a rather talented couple
* Played some fun games
* went to the beach right after I got off the airplane. Nothing like sinking your toes in the sand and watching the waves of the ocean! I love it!
* watched movies
* went to a movie (Midnight in Paris)
* Raging waters
* NAPS! in the middle of the day! I hardly remembered what it was like!
* Played with her darling son William

I flew home Tuesday and met up with Ashton and Aspen at Lagoon since I still had the day off work. We have been promising her all summer we would take her, and I figured it was as good a time as any. She loved it and ran from one ride to the next. It was a perfect day to go. overcast, warm not hot, and hardly any lines to wait in. I realized I'm getting older after about the 3rd ride that went round and round and made me about lose my lunch. It was so fun to see her smile, and her dad was great to get out of his comfort zone and go on all the little kid rides with her. She is my joy. She starts kindergarten soon, much to her dismay. She doesn't want to go to school she keeps telling me. Hopefully she will change her mind when she starts. She tells me she wants to go to first grade, not kindergarten. She is too stinkin smart.
Summer is getting closer to coming to a close, and I am with Aspen...I don't want to go to school either. But I do want to just get it done, so guess we all must press on.
A lot has been going on in my little life, some things are too private to post, and some things are just too boring to post, but we do keep busy around here. Work is keeping me busy, and I'm trying to save up to buy a new camera. I'm also trying to decide what I want to do in life...I'm starting to make some changes, and along with those changes, I'm changing my mind on what I want to be when I "Grow up" haha.
