I don't have time to post, but here are some of my pics I took for photography. I am really proud of them. You aren't seeing great versions of them, because I took pictures of my photos, and there was a little light glare on some of them...oh well. and they are crooked...because honestly I didn't take my time taking super nice pictures of the photographs. so sorry bout that, but hope you enjoy them anyway.

Anyway, I will post later when I have more time and post some more of my pictures.

Planning this month is a joke

Made a plan to post a blog posting with pics and all...Failed
Made a plan to get pregnant...Failed
Made a plan to exercise everyday so I'd look great in my swimsuit...Failed
Made a plan to eat healthier everyday...Failed
Made a plan to spend a little more me time...yeah right
Made a plan to do my Mission Impossible Photo Assignment...Hasn't happened in a LONG time
Made a plan to pay off my debt...just keeps piling up more
Made a plan to stop stressing so much...still working on it
Made a plan to make some friends...haven't had the time
Made a plan to be home and spend more time with Aspen...haven't been home before 4 in over 3 weeks.
Made a plan to stop yelling at Aspen and be a better mom...HAPPENED.

That's the ONLY thing that has happened this month. I have figured out a little bit how to be a better mom. We have gotten along great the past week or so. I give 2 options, and she picks one. And there is no yelling. And she loves me. And I love her. And we are happy at the end of the day.

Guess with all my planning and failures, at least I'm glad one thing is going right.

A New Baby Nephew!

Congrats to Shalee and Jill (My brother and sister-in-law) who just had their first child today. A baby boy weighing in at 8lbs 4 oz. He is SOOOOO cute. He has the most perfect baby face I think I've ever seen. He is just adorable. I will have to post a pic sometime. I think he is grandchild 43?? not quite sure...

Been too busy with work to post right now really, but I will when I get a moment.

Where have I been?

I've been asking myself this question too. Along with some of you who have sent me messages saying update your blog. Thanks for caring! Honestly, I didn't think anyone read my blog, so I didn't think it was a big deal. I have been in "Busy" up to my noes. I spent almost everyday the past two weeks up in the darkroom for HOURS. I do mean hours. Some nights I was there until 1 in the morning. Other nights I stayed as long as my eyes would stay open. My project was an important one. I needed a good grade out of the class. And my photo 2 teacher is a LOT harder than my photo 1 teacher was to please. I worked my butt off for this project. I think it turned out good. I got some wonderful shots. Thanks to all who participated! I will post pics sometime this week when I'm not still recovering. I'm exhausted. I did well in drawing, my last 4 assignments I got in the 90's, so I guess I am improving. I still don't enjoy it, but I can at least do it now. I was really surprised at how well I can actually draw now. It's not fantastic, but it's not bad.

Aspen pretty much lived at her grandmas during the past two weeks, which I was sad about because I missed her, but it was good bonding time for them. I didn't feel like a good mom this week because I hardly saw her...but I suppose she will forgive me for it. She would call me and tell me to come home, or that it wasn't a school day and she missed me. She told me one day to hurry home to play with her. She is such a sweet little one. I love her so much. I hope I can be a good enough mom to her with finishing school too.

Ashton is gone backpacking for 4 days now, and I'm back to work. Will be lots of fun I'm sure...wahoo...at least I'll get to spend a little time with Aspen now. We played most the day today.

I'll post pics later. I'm super tired, and this is all the update I can give right now. I start Digital in the fall! I'm super excited about that. That's about it.
