I went to California last thursday through Monday to spend time with my sweet friend Andrea. She had a baby 5 mths ago and she looks fantastic, and her baby is OH SO SUPER CUTE! He is the happiest baby I have ever seen. The only time I heard him cry in all those days there was when we went on car rides because he hates carseats. If I hadn't seen it myself I would have never believed there were such happy babies in the world. She is a fantastic mom.
We had a good time just visiting, going to the tar pit museum, the beach! my favorite day! love the Ocean. And we ate. A lot. A lot of not good for you-put the weight on-food. Deliciousness! We ate at the best Cafe! Cafe Dolce. It was the BEST! Much better then Olive Garden. Our other friend from College Michelle came with too, and we all had such a good time relaxing. We watched conference, talked about life, played games. It was nice to have some girl time. I get very little of that, and have so few friends that I ever get to do anything with. I don't make friends easy, not sure why...my own insecurities I suppose. But when I do make a good friend that earns my trust and respect, they are my life long friend. These two friends have been there for me a lot, check in on me even when they know I hate the phone and I'm not likely to talk to them very long, and they point out my crap when it needs pointed out. Such great friends!! Love them!
Life has been the same as usual...busy. Busy. BUSY. Work, School, Work, homework, play with Aspen, try to be a Wife, try to gain a testimony, try to stay sane. Ah life. So much fun. I've been going through some hard times personally, but I'm working on things...working on myself, working through hard things that suck, but I'm sure it will all work itself out. Life loves to keep me on my toes.
I've done a couple photo shoots that have been fun. I don't post my photos very often because honestly I'm lazy. Finding the time to upload them drives me crazy.
that's about it for my journal updating for now.
