A fever AGAIN???!!!

Yep, Aspen has a fever AGAIN!!! She JUST had one a couple weeks ago which made for a long week and me getting very behind in school, and today she has one again! ugh. I don't know what in the world is going on here...but we are struggling to stay well. Sure stinks. I know it's because when I get her well, we go out, or to family events, and someone is always sick, and then sure enough, she gets it a few days later. I'd think by now the poor girl would have caught everything she could. I hate when she is sick, makes me feel so bad for her. I'm off to snuggle with her, because she says she needs "snuggled wuggled". ha she loves rhyming words

Charlotte said...: I feel like someone in our house has been sick at least every other day- with a different illness. Flu, cold, ear infection, stomach bug, food poisoning... I think we've covered everything there is to be covered.

I guess what I'm saying is: I feel for you. It's hard when your kid is sick... here's to hoping you don't catch anything.; 7:51 PM

She said it...

January 15 2011 - Aspen had me write at the top of a sticky note "This is my girl Aspen" then she came back with it a little while later and handed it to me. It had a drawing of a girl on it and she said "This is so when you aren't with me so you can always remember me" Love that beautiful girl!
Sept 23 2009 - Aspen has taken to saying funny things. When I am upset or short tempered, she tells me "Don't be stressed mom!" I love her and that she is so funny and sweet!
8-21-09 - Aspen has some funny words she says, and I love how she says them. She is 3 and soo smart. She says "tink" for "Think" and "biskito" for "moskito", she likes to give big hugs and kisses and say I love you. She is starting dancing on Monday and she is SOO excited. She's been such a joy and I love her so much! Her favorite food is any meats...she's a big meat eater. She LOVES "macacroni & cheese" and chicken noodle soup, and cantalope!
3/25/09 - yesterday I got home from school and I had taken a picture of my drawing I did in class on my phone, and I showed it to Aspen and asked her what she thought about it, she thought for a minute, then turned to me and said "It's PERfect mom!" She is so smart, and soooo funny!
3/22/09 - Today Aspen asked me if I got something from Ashton for Christmas, and I said yes, and she said "That is AMazing" I capitalized the A and M because she said it just like that A Mazing...in such a grown up tone. It was so funny. I don't know where she comes up with these words.
9/25/08 - I woke in the morning to hear a little girl saying "Oh My GOSH! I NEED my sippy cup!" like a little teenager. Oh the things we have to look forward to come!
"If I go on the big potty, then I can have some skirttles?" (She means skittles, but she says it SOO darn cute!)
9/2 - During prayer, when asked if daddy can help her, she said "Not YOU dad, mommy help me!" The stink!
9/2 - Dresses herself - Been undressing herself for a long time
9/2 - Sings "I am a child of God"
8/22 - "I scream and cry because Zac takes my toys away!"
8/22 - She woke me up this morning saying "listen to me mom, I would like some milk"
8/8 - Gets into everything, everything, everything!
8/7 - likes to play tag - though I end up doing most the chasing
8/7 - can put on her own underwear and pants. Still struggles getting her shirts on
8/7 - has started saying "May I" for things. SOOO cute
8/7 - Likes to take your hand and use your fingers to say "this little piggy went to the market" poem
8/3 - Reading a book at bedtime, she climbs off my lap and says "I'm too big to sit on your lap."
8/3 - Pointing to her shoes: "I bought em for $40 dowers"
8/3 -"where's daddy?" me: he's in mississippi for army. "Daddy buying me a toy?"
