Family Time

Yesterday I had different plans in mind (and lots I was supposed to do), but Ashton took the day off early to come to a business meeting with me, and then we went to lunch together, and then I guess I must have looked so good he didn't want to leave me (Ha ha!) My brother's Shaun, Shalee and Shiloh were over at my moms working on her backyard so Ashton and I decided to stay and help. We took a big trailer to the dump and got some mulch, and we all worked hard making her backyard look fantastic! My sister ShaMayne had come up earlier in the week and planted her garden.

It took all day to get it all done, but it was fun to spend the time together, and to spend the time with some of my brothers.

And for the record, Ashton was super dooper sweet to me yesterday, and I had fun watching my hottie husband working. He's a fantastic hard worker, and he is super smart. I love you babe! Thanks for sticking around yesterday and helping out. You are the bestest!

And of course Aspen was a HUGE help. She helped carry plants to the backyard, and had a blast getting dirty. I wish I'd had my camera to take pictures, but I didn't....I will have to go take a picture of the backyard though so you can all see it. My dad would have loved it. Shaun brought some large rocks out to make a rock garden, and my dad LOVED rocks. It will be nice for my mom to go out and enjoy her backyard. AND the strawberries and raspberries I planted there 2 years ago are finally starting to come through! Yahoo!
