Alright, so yesterday was a horrid day for me. I am so glad it's done. I was so frusterated the whole day. It started out with me trying to get all my work done so my clients wouldn't be upset that I'm so behind this month, then I went to a job interview, and when I got there, they told me they didn't have any jobs available...so I was wondering what the heck I was doing there. Then found out that I'd met with the wrong person...they put me in the interview with the wrong person, and I got a call while I was in there from who I was supposed to meet with, it was all weird. I got the job...(so long as I pass my background check...) just tutoring 2 days a week at a middle school 4 hours in the mornings. Not too bad. It will pay off our utilities at least I guess.
Anyway, then we came home, Aspen screaming all the way. She has taken to screaming a LOT lately when she doesn't get what she wants. I had to set up an appointment to get our windshield fixed because it's cracked. Love paying for stuff like that.
Aspen was busy ALL day getting into everything and crying when she couldn't. Can you say almost THREE!!! Then as I was wrapping up my work for the day, all the sudden I hear water running in the bathroom and she comes running out crying. Turns out she flushed her underwear down the toilet, and we had water all over. She's a peach sometimes.
Then as if my day hadn't been busy enough, Ashton and I took Aspen to my moms so we could go excercise at Planet Fitness, and when we got back to pick Aspen up, she had a bucket of snow sitting on her lap with her hands in it, because she'd burned both hands on the stove.
It was a fun day to say the least... glad it's done.

Wow that sounds like a long day. I hate days where everything seems to go wrong, thank goodness for good days! I do have to say the whole flushing underwear down the toilet is kind of funny. It probably won't be when Abby does it though.
Oh dear. I'd say "At least you got the job!" but having to take on a second job in the firt place sounds pretty crummy.
So I guess my bright side here is that your hair is gorgeous and at least you got to work out. Maybe that was a bit of a stress relief?
I can't believe she flushed her underwear... you have to admit that's a little bit funny.:)
Love ya, girl. Hope today is better for you.
I know just the days that those are! We have had plenty just like it. Alexis had a massive tantrum at walmart all I could do was just try and drag her out to the car screaming with staring on lookers while thinkng "don't you have kids"? The next day she pinched her finger on the shopping cart at another store. She doesn't calm down easily. We still get alot of crying and screaming some days even though she is 4. She is dramatic! Sounds like you could sympathize with me!
SOOOO my kind of day. :) Glad you made it through! And hooray for your new job!
AWW Shanda! YOu and I are having the same fun week! Of course, I didn't experience all that you have, but I had a nice puddle of liquid on my floor that my son had made happen...and it wasn't water! Potty training is going on for 2 months now, I need to stay cool, calm and collective riight!??!
Hope our days are better!
Oh, what a rough day! I'm so sorry. Hope every day has been better since then! And congratulations on the new job! Give me a call if I can ever help you out with anything.
